Al Wilson

Al Wilson is one of those show stopping, get down soul singers that every fan of great singing loves to watch.  Al's story begins in the early sixties when he left home in Mississippi to join the Navy.  After the Navy Al came out to the West coast and started working the clubs and being noticed by the industry.  His break came when Johnny Rivers signed him to his Soul City Records.  Al recorded "The Snake" and "Do What You Gotta Do".  Both records hit the top ten.  Al's success was secured with the multi million selling "Show and Tell" which hit number one and stayed there for five weeks.
"Show and Tell" was Cashbox Magazine's song of the year.  Al has had other hits including "I've Got a Feeling", "Touch and Go", and La La Peace song.  Backed by a kickin band,  Al includes many soul classics in his hit show, and particulary Otis Reddings big hit "Dock of The Bay".
This is a great show and priced for the small to mid sized showroom.
